  • We believe wherever possible in trying to reach an agreed settlement in matrimonial disputes. It is our belief that Court proceedings should be an option of last resort rather then first choice in any divorce. However if the need arises we will not shrink from a fight.

  • We use plain English and will not try to baffle you with jargon (see our Jargon buster).

  • We are available for telephone consultation outside office hours in evenings or weekends if you would prefer.

  • We try to reply to your enquiries the same day wherever possible.

  • Most clients these days have e-mail accounts and we find that by contacting them by e-mail we are better able to keep them in touch with their case and also give them an opportunity to approve letters we send out on their behalf.

  • We know that getting time off work to see a solicitor can be difficult and so we regularly offer clients appointments in their lunch hours or in the early evening after they have finished work.

  • We are members of "Resolution" - an organisation of divorce solicitors committed to conducting matrimonial proceedings in a more constructive less confrontational way and in accordance with the code of conduct.
